these medieval books are made with paper, and gold painted edges.  they each open to see the inside script.  this one is made with real leather straps and gold colored corners with gold studs as well as a teardrop design in center with blue jewels around it.  the size of the books are 1 3/8"high x 1 1/8"wide x 5/16" thick.
